Teapot With Four Teacups: Antique Blue
This teapot comes with four teacups. Two of the cups are slightly larger. Teapots like this are like serving dishes. Water should not be boiled directly in them. Hot water should be heated in a separate kettle. When ready, rinse this teapot in warm water and then pour the hot water from the kettle in.
(Clay doesn’t like the shock of quick changes from hot to cold or cold to hot. If this shock occurs pots will break.)
The teapot alone weighs about 3 pounds 5 ounces. It is about 8 inches tall 10 inches long from spout to handle and 6 inches wide. It holds approximately 32 ounces of liquid.
The cups weigh about 14 ounces. They hold approximately 10 ounces of liquid. Two of the cups are slightly larger. They are about 4 inches tall, 4 inches wide, and 5 and 1/2 inches long at the handle.
